Discover Oman Day By Day Tour Details

Day 01: Muscat – Hotel

Distance : 30 KM
Driving time : 30 minutes
Overnight : Muscat
Arrival at Muscat airport. Meet and Greet and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, head to start your half day city tour of Muscat. The visit includes Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, an architectural monument, and Bait Al Zubair Museum, which showcases Omani heritage with a vast collection of antiques, traditional Omani weaponry, jewellery, costumes, domestic utensils, and recreated urban and rural environments. The drive through old Muscat, surrounded by steep mountains and flanked by the twin 16th century Jalali and Mirani forts, extends to Al Alam Palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. Have a stop at Muttrah, the main port area, leads to explore an ancient and colourful souk. Return to the hotel.

Day 02: Muscat - Tour of the city in Muscat - Hotel

Distance : 40 KM
Driving time : 2 Hours
Overnight : Muscat

After breakfast we start with a city tour in Muscat.

Visit the architectural jewel Sultan Qaboos Mosque, continue through the old Muscat to the Bait Al Zubair Museum. Visit the oldest markets of Arabia and the old town of Muscat the colorful "Muttrah Souk". On the way back we drive past sultan's palace, which is home to 2 fortresses.


Day 03: Muscat – Bimah Sinkhole – Wadi Tiwi – Sur

Distance : 210 km
Driving time : 3 Hours
Overnight : Sur

After the early stucco we go to Sur, on the way we drive past small fishing villages and visit the "Bimah Sinkhole" and the oases located near the route. Wadi Sha'ab and Wadi Tiwi are without a doubt one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman, where they enjoy a pleasant picnic. A short tour in the port city of Sur, which still produce traditional wooden boats (Dhows).

Continue to Ras Al Jinz, where we can visit the well-known water turtles.


Day 04: Wadi Bani Khalid - Wahiba Sands

Distance : 185 km
Driving time : 3 Hours
Overnight : Dinner & Camp in Wahiba

After breakfast we go to Wadi Bani Khalid here you will hike through the idyllic oasis with its deep, cool and glass-clear water basins. Then continue to Wahiba Sands. On the edge of the desert, they change into 4x4 SUVs. Experience the journey through the golden hilly sand to the sand to the camp. Enjoy the beautiful sunset over the dunes in the evening.


Day 05: Wahiba Sands – Ibra – Jabrin – Bahla – Nizwa

Distance : 220 km
Driving time : 4 Hours
Overnight : Nizwa

After breakfast we drive to Ibra and visit the women's market, where fabrics, cosmetics and much more are negotiated.

Then we go to Jabrin and visit the fortress, one of the most beautiful grounds of Oman. A former residential castle, from whose terrace you have a beautiful view of the Hadjar Mountains. Continue to Bahla and photos top of the fortress, which is part of UNESCO world culture.


Day 06: Nizwa – Al Hamra – Jebel Shams – Nizwa

Distance : 180 km
Driving time : 4 Hours
Overnight : Nizwa

After breakfast we drive to Al Hamra, which is known for its rational clay buildings. Experience Jebel Shams with breathtaking views into the deep canyons and the endless end

mountain scenery.


Day 07: Nizwa Market – Fort & Souq - Transfer to Airport or to Beach Stay Extension

Distance : 160 km
Driving time : 2 Hours

After breakfast we visit the nizwa cattle market, where every Friday morning the locals trade their animals.  Afterwards we visit the Nizwa Fort, which gives a beautiful bird's-eye view of the city and the surrounding mountains. Visit the traditional souk, for the beautiful silverware and pottery. On the way to Muscat we stop for a short visit to Birkat Al Mauz. Transfer to Muscat Airport. This is where your Hussam Tours service ends, wish you a good return flight. Or transfer to your Beach stay extension hotel.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM PASSPORT VALIDITY?

According to Jordanian regulations, travellers should hold a passport with a validity of at least 6 months in order to enter Jordan.

WHAT DO I EXPECT WHEN I ARRIVE AT THE AIRPORT?

Our office representative will be waiting for you before immigration office in Amman airport holding a sign with your name on it. The free visa is available for clients staying two and more nights in Jordan.

WHEN I SHOULD SEND MY PASSPORT COPY

Please send passport copies not later than 3 days prior arrival, otherwise 60 USD visa fees will be charged upon arrival
